Contracts signed with grant winners within the call “Community Boost Grants 2022”
05/09/2022Contracts were signed with grant winners within the framework of the “Community Boost Grants 2022” call last Thursday, September 5. Through this grant, support is provided to local advocacy initiatives of civil society organizations and informal groups, namely those related to solving identified problems in the local community with an emphasis on citizen mobilization.
From the received applications, the six best were selected, namely Žene juga from Pirot, Zrenjaninska omladinska razvojna from Zrenjanin, Putokaz from Kragujevac, Lokalni odgovor from Valjevo, Komšije sa Dorćola from Belgrad and Sejači sreće from Varvarin.
In addition to contract signing, the first implementation workshop was held that day where the grant beneficiairies got to know the ACT team, as well as the rules of project implementation, narrative, financial reporting, monitoring and evaluation, as well as the rules of communication and visibility.
The ACT project will provide additional support to grant beneficiaries through a capacity building program in which the grant beneficiaries’ participation is mandatory. Capacity building activities will consist of training and mentoring support in the field of public advocacy, citizen mobilization and project management starting next week.
