ACT Partners Attend a Three-Day Training on Crowdfunding Basics

The three-day training “Crowdfunding Basics,” intended for ACT partners, is being held from January 28 to 30, 2026, at Hotel IN in Belgrade. The training is attended by 20 participants from various civil society organizations and is led by Tamara Klarić, an expert in community development and crowdfunding campaigns.

During the first day, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of crowdfunding, its key elements, and how it functions in practice. Special attention was given to understanding why crowdfunding has become an important tool for civil society organizations today. Klarić emphasized that a successful campaign brings numerous benefits, including effective marketing, increased legitimacy within the community, greater social impact, faster fundraising, a high level of transparency, and the opportunity to test an idea before making larger investments.

On the second day of the training, participants worked on developing the key components of a successful crowdfunding campaign:

  • community building,

  • campaign planning,

  • content creation, including videos, messages, and visuals.

Discussions and practical exercises helped ACT partners better understand the importance of clearly defining campaign goals, motivating their communities, and building trust through authentic communication.

On the third day, participants analyze successful crowdfunding examples, as well as the opportunities offered by the Donacije.rs platform for organizations interested in launching their own campaigns.

The aim of this training is to empower ACT partners to independently and effectively use crowdfunding as a sustainable fundraising model and a tool for community engagement. Participants have already shown strong enthusiasm and readiness to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
