Sandglass Women’s Association

Peščanik Women’s Association is a women’s non-governmental non-profit organization founded in Kruševac in 2000 to empower and support the self-organization of women to seek and assert their rights, to advocate for democracy and the rule of law, and to advocate for the improvement of gender equality at home, at work and in public life. Peščanik Women’s Association believes in the strength and power of women and women’s unions to change reality and society in favor of equality with mutual respect for diversity. Peščanik acts at the local, national and international level, individually and through membership in women’s coalitions and networks.
