The foundation was established with the aim of promoting and supporting professional, ethical and quality journalism in the interest of citizens. We believe that independent media, without pressure and censorship, are a basic prerequisite for building a democratic society and active citizens. With a special focus on local media, we work to improve the safety of journalists, promote the legislative and institutional framework that protects freedom of speech, promote ethical and professional standards of journalism and increase the capacity of journalists to respond to the needs of the community.
