United Against COVID

After the “United Against Kovid” initiative from July 2020, when the open letter was first signed by 350 doctors, and in the following days the number of signatories increased to almost 3,000, in conversations among several thousand doctors there was a clear desire to formalize the initiative. This was done through the formation of an association that could be a channel of communication for many in the profession, among themselves but also towards the public, who have something to say about the situation that hit us as a state and society with the KOVID-19 pandemic.

Through numerous discussions, and a large number of observations and suggestions from the signatory doctors, it was clear that in the future one of the main goals of the association should be reorganization, modernization and consolidation of the health system, which would benefit primarily citizens through improvement quality of health services but also doctors through improving working conditions and raising standards.
