Tanja Bjelanović

Tanja Bjelanović is professionally engaged in the development of civil society and philanthropy in Central and Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on the Balkans. With a quarter-century of experience and over 15 years of consulting and training work, her focus areas include: strategic program and organizational development; organizational change management; program evaluations; assessment and development of organizational capacities; and grantmaking programs. She is especially dedicated to strategic approaches and sustainable financing of civil society organizations, as well as advising in philanthropy and fundraising. Motivated by a desire to share her knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm, she founded the agency Tabula, which works with organizations, donors, the public and business sectors, and activists to help create a better world for all. One of her greatest professional achievements is leading a major donor fundraising campaign for the first endowment fund for civil society in the Balkans, established within the Trag Foundation. She enjoys reading, writing, and nurturing relationships with people.
