\u201cWhen space narrows, solidarity speaks<\/b><\/span>\u201d was the title of this year\u2019s Pra\u0107ka<\/i> conference, held on December 15\u201316 at Prostor, organized by the ACT Project \u2013 Civic Initiatives and Helvetas.<\/p>\n

The conference was opened by Gorana Radovanovi\u0107<\/b><\/span>, ACT Project Team Leader at Helvetas. In her opening remarks, she emphasized that working with organizations has shown how vital communication is for building trust, engaging citizens, and motivating communities. She added that in a time of artificial intelligence and countless communication channels, the role of communicators has never been more important. Referring to the story of David and Goliath\u2014which inspired the name Pra\u0107ka<\/i>\u2014she noted that with the right tools and the ability to aim at the very center, even the greatest Goliath can be overcome. She encouraged participants to use the conference to acquire their own \u201cslingshots\u201d: practical ideas and communication tools they can take back to their organizations, inspired and ready to act.<\/p>\n

Following her address, Dragoslava Barzut<\/b><\/span> from Civic Initiatives welcomed participants and wished them a productive conference, highlighting the importance of transparent communication in the work of the civil society sector, especially in the current social context.<\/p>\n

The audience was then addressed by Pavle Peki\u0107<\/b><\/span>, President of the Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia, who delivered an inspiring speech on finding one\u2019s voice in a society full of challenges.<\/p>\n

The program continued with a panel discussion moderated by Minja Bogavac<\/b><\/span>, focusing on creativity in social change. Panelists included Teodara Peri\u0107<\/b><\/span> (Urbana Gerila), Ilir Ga\u0161i<\/b><\/span> (Creative Producer), Nemanja Marinovi\u0107<\/b><\/span> (Zoomer), and Ana Mirkailo<\/b><\/span> (BeFem \u2013 Feminist Cultural Center).<\/p>\n

On the first day, the networking platform Petlja<\/b><\/span>, designed to connect organizations and experts, was presented, followed by a series of engaging workshops. The second day began with a masterclass by Milo\u0161 Jankovi\u0107<\/b><\/span> from Katalista on \u201cData-Driven Communication,\u201d and concluded with additional workshops and hands-on sessions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
