{"id":13033,"date":"2026-04-28T17:00:04","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T15:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/act.org.rs\/en\/?p=13033"},"modified":"2026-07-13T14:23:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T12:23:08","slug":"act-project-presented-during-the-visit-of-the-president-of-switzerland-to-serbia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/act.org.rs\/en\/act-project-presented-during-the-visit-of-the-president-of-switzerland-to-serbia\/","title":{"rendered":"ACT Project Presented During the Visit of the President of Switzerland to Serbia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">We were pleased to take part in a series of important events organized during the official visit of the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, to Serbia, as well as the visit of Patricia Danzi, Director General of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">One of the central events was the presentation of the new Switzerland\u2013Serbia Cooperation Programme for the period 2026\u20132029, which will support the country\u2019s key development priorities: democratic governance, economic development, climate action, and sustainable urban development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As part of the event, Helvetas presented the ACT Project, which has been supporting civil society organizations across Serbia since 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The ACT Project was presented to senior representatives of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) by Gorana Radovanovi\u0107, ACT Team Leader, and Marko Raki\u0107, Project Advisor, with the support of Ma\u0161a Babi\u0107, Communications Manager.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The presentation also highlighted the project\u2019s key achievements over the past seven years:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>220 civil society organizations supported;<\/li>\n<li>More than 154,000 citizens have benefited from the project\u2019s activities;<\/li>\n<li>125 advocacy initiatives implemented;<\/li>\n<li>50 public policy changes achieved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">The event was also attended by Matthias Herr, Helvetas Regional Director for Eastern Europe, and Sne\u017eana Mi\u0161i\u0107 Mihajlovi\u0107, Good Governance Portfolio Manager at Helvetas Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The presentation of the ACT Project during this event once again confirmed the importance of Switzerland\u2019s long-standing support for the development of civil society in Serbia and the project\u2019s contribution to strengthening citizen participation in decision-making processes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We were pleased to take part in a series of important events organized during the official visit of the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, to Serbia, as well as the visit of Patricia Danzi, Director General of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
