In the second phase of the ACT program, we have an exceptional opportunity to offer a coaching program as a key tool for the personal and organizational development of leaders and teams. This unique program encourages authentic leadership and long-term change that strengthens motivation, trust, and mutual understanding within teams, enabling organizations to act more steadily and consistently in fulfilling their value-based missions.
What is the coaching program and who is it for?
The ACT coaching program is a unique and transformative experience—unlike typical programs in the civil society sector—designed to foster clearer communication, deeper reflection, and long-term leadership development.
The program is intended for organizational leaders who want to reflect more deeply on their leadership style, set healthy boundaries, achieve balance between professional and private life, and develop new practices for constructive communication. It is also for those who wish to successfully address leadership challenges such as role and task distribution, delegation, giving constructive feedback, mentoring new team members, aligning team work with organizational values and vision, and ensuring enough time for rest and self-care.
The coaching program includes eight one-hour sessions delivered by professional coach and consultant Maša Đorđević, who has 20 years of experience supporting democratization and civil society development in the Western Balkans.
The program will run from December 2025 to May 2026.
The first session is always held in person, preferably at the organization’s premises, to launch the process in a familiar environment and establish stronger connection with the organizational context. All remaining sessions will take place online, following a schedule agreed upon with the coach.
A total of six organizational leaders will be supported in this program, bearing in mind that two leaders have already registered during the pilot phase.

-
“I expect us to grow organically—to choose projects and donors rather than rushing into bureaucracy or things that aren’t truly ours, out of fear for financial survival.”
