Our delegation, consisting of Miloš Bajić Finance and Danijela Božović, program visited the Bazi Mili Association from Lajkovac on Friday, which was supported under the “Community boost grants”. On that occasion, as part of the working part, they visited the Inclusive Center “Support to Child and Family”, which is also the framework of the supported project. Our representatives had insight into the documentation, but also drawings, artistic handicrafts made by the Center’s users.

After that, the ceremonial part took place in the garden of the open-air cafe, not far from the center, so that in compliance with all epidemiological measures and there were present: volunteers, high school medical students, special educators, local government representatives who supported the project activities, but also representatives of local media.

Representatives of Bazi Mili, Milica Nikolić and Zaklina Molerović, emphasized the importance of supporting the ACT program, which was a “wind in the back” or a “stepping stone” in starting their center. Also they pointed out that ACT grant enabled them to ask for community support and to provide necessary support to children with autism in the form of adapted program. According to them, this is just the beginning of activities and Bazi Mili as organization is empowered to continue its further work.

The impression of our representatives is that the organization Bazi Mili has achieved great results with limited funds and that they have successfully organized the community in which they live and work. They took the opportunity to inform all people who were present about current calls under the ACT program.
